Since when have you been a uvex athlete?
Phew, that is a good question, but I think officially since I was accepted into the squad of the German Ski Association. So for approx. 20 years… a long and wonderful time.
But I also remember well a situation from my childhood when I had just joined the ski club and already received a uvex helmet back then. Seen that way, it is then a few years longer.
What have your most important achievements been so far?
Here, in addition to my Olympic victory in Vancouver 2010, I would also mention the 3‑time win of the giant slalom World Cup. At World Championships I was able to win 2 silver medals and a total of 19 World Cups.
What do you associate with uvex?
I associate uvex with absolute quality and professionalism. No matter what problem existed, a top solution was always found. Moreover, I feel completely safe in uvex products and can therefore pursue my passions, whether on skis or on the bike, without compromise.
