1958 - 1960
Years of economic miracle
The 1950s were a decade of economic boom – not only for the German economy, but also for Philipp M. Winter's company. The economic boom provided tailwind: the company premises were expanded and the sole proprietorship was converted into the corporation ‘Winter Gesellschaft für Optik und Augenschutz mbH’ on the 30th of December 1958. With 250 employees, the company was then one of the most successful in Fürth.
The Winter family retained its shareholding in the company and Rainer Winter was appointed managing director alongside Philipp M. Winter.
