Factor26 GmbH was founded in 2018 as a joint venture between the uvex safety group as the majority shareholder and the online retailer ACE Technik. Until 2020, Factor26 sold uvex PPE products worldwide on the relevant digital marketplaces. In 2020, Factor26 was transferred to the uvex safety subgroup's scope of consolidation, until the final major integration into the uvex group's fourth subgroup, UD2C, took place in 2022.
The aim of the UD2C group is to make all brands and product ranges of the uvex group visible, tangible and saleable worldwide and to increase brand image and digital sales shares. In addition, the digital D2C sales channels, e.g. the brand shop, are to be optimally planned, controlled and implemented.
