Head protection - The uvex helmet families
Nothing is more important than the safety of people in their everyday work. The head, in particular, often requires special protection. In 1994, uvex launched its first product in the head protection category. This was the superboss, a classic industrial safety helmet compliant with EN 397. Since then, uvex has continuously developed its products based on pioneering technologies. The aim: to combine protection, wearing comfort and strain relief as optimally as possible in every product.

uvex pheos helmet family
The uvex pheos helmet family covers all areas of application with different variants and offers a wide range of accessories that is perfectly matched to the helmet family to ensure optimal protection for the wearer. Of course, pheos helmets also offer a high level of wearing comfort and well-designed ergonomics.
A particularly innovative example from the pheos helmet family is the uvex pheos alpine, which was the first helmet to combine two different standards in a single design. It fulfils EN 397 for industrial safety helmets and EN 12492 for helmets for working at height.
In some industries, fitters work both on the ground and at height and therefore need separate helmets for each workplace and must change them. With the uvex pheos alpine, this is no longer necessary. When working on the ground, the triangular chin strap is safely stowed inside the helmet, and when moving to work at height, the strap is taken out and ensures a secure fit at height.

uvex pronamic helmet family
This product line optimally combines protection with dynamic performance. The helmets were designed so that all functional elements – such as ventilation or the optional Mips safety system – are seamlessly integrated into the design. As a result, they offer reliable protection while maintaining optimal ergonomics. Inspired by bionic structures, the pronamic series features an innovative helmet interior design that combines stability, comfort and material efficiency.
With different model variants such as pronamic B, pronamic E or pronamic alpine, the helmet family can be adapted to a wide range of applications – from construction and industry to energy and work at height. Thanks to smart accessories, IES compatibility and variable peak shapes, the helmets can be customised flexibly and always ensure optimal visibility, a secure fit and high ventilation.
