Quality, leadership, trust and enthusiasm - trade fair appearances then and now
From the very beginning, trade fair stands played a central role for uvex. Even in the early years, the company recognised how important it was to present products and innovations directly on site and to maintain personal contact with customers and partners. Trade fair appearances served not only to showcase products, but also to build trust and long-lasting relationships within the industry.
In the 1950s, uvex trade fair stands were still modest in size: they often fitted into a single room, were simply furnished with folding chairs and were usually looked after personally by Philipp M. Winter, the company’s founder. At that time, a VW van was all that was needed for transport.
Today, however, the trade fair stands are significantly larger, technically more sophisticated and staffed by a dedicated and sizeable exhibition team. Despite this evolution, the goal has remained the same over all these years: uvex always aims to stay close to its customers and present the latest innovations and products in person.
The annual highlights of the trade fair calendar include the Eurobike sports fair for uvex and ALPINA, the equestrian fairs spoga horse and CHIO Aachen, and the A+A – the world’s largest occupational safety trade fair, held every two years. Quality, leadership, trust and enthusiasm – uvex’s brand values – are not only a source of inspiration each year but form the very DNA of the company’s trade fair presence.
