Just a few years after the foundation of the parent company ALPINA Deutschland, the sales office in Austria was established. Under Managing Director Fritz Neudeck, the early 1990s marked the beginning of a remarkable growth phase, driven primarily by the successful launch of the cycling and ski helmet range. After 27 years in office, he handed over the leadership to Alexander Grau in 2026. On February 28, 2026, Alexander Grau, in turn, handed over the position on an interim basis to Patrick Hebling and Patrick Angeletti.
uvex and ALPINA united under one roof
The former beverage market, including its attached apartments, had originally been leased in 1989, one year after the founding of ALPINA Austria. The move in and official opening took place in April 1989. For 33 years, ALPINA Austria and its employees were based at the Neukirchen location. In May 2022, renovation work on the building began with the clear objective of bringing uvex sports Austria and ALPINA Austria together at a single site. This vision was realized through the comprehensive redevelopment of the building.
Today, the shared site enables closer and faster coordination between the brands while streamlining internal processes. To support more efficient use of space and improved communication, office areas were redesigned and showrooms reorganized according to brand.
